Clinton Brown, Student-at-law

Clinton Brown brings unique and relevant entertainment industry work experience to Hayes eLaw LLP. For over four years he worked with a major Canadian production company managing the negotiation of domestic and international live and recorded performance contracts, as well as venue, sponsorship, co-production, partnership and performers union agreements.

Clinton also has experience with matters such as corporate governance, employment and immigration law, regulatory compliance and intellectual property rights management, protection, licensing and distribution.

Clinton is a McGill Faculty of Law graduate with a combined civil and common law degree. While attending law school Clinton volunteered with various organizations, such as the McGill Legal Information Clinic and YES Montreal, where he provided legal information and hosted client seminars on topics ranging from business structures and taxation to intellectual property rights management and the development of negotiation skills for artists.

Clinton has successfully completed his Law Society of Upper Canada bar examinations and is in the final stage of completing the work experience portion of his Articles of Clerkship.
